Miners Gulch
It had already been a full day of wheeling complete with a relaxing BBQ at lunch time. The sun was threatening to go down as we turned off of the Sheridan Hill trail and started Miners Gulch. We still had some miles to cover, but we kept at it.
We started near the west end of the trail, so we got to see most of it. It was a pretty mellow descent down the rocky hill, and no one had any issues.
We looked at the Montana Creek trail as it intersected with Miners Gulch and headed down in elevation, but we didn't check it out. It was yet another trail for another day. We kept along the Miners Gulch trail and watched below us as the other trail faded away.
Once we got to the Miners Hill intersection we all decided to head up that direction. It was a fun climb, as always. It was loose in places, but no one had any troubles. We all enjoyed the good views of the surrounding area and we could see Central City in the distance.
It didn't take long to reach the Yankee Hill trail, and the sun wasn't even completely down yet. We were finally going to finish Yankee Hill and we headed east.
