We ran Missouri Gulch as the fifth trail of the day, on our way to Illinois Gulch. We didn't spend much time completing the trail as we had all gotten accustomed to driving on the snow-covered trails. We were also anxious to get to Illinois Gulch and Moab Rock. The hills were more difficult in the snow, but no one experienced any significant challenges.

We met very little traffic and almost everyone we did see were deer hunters. We drove past the beginning of the Illinois Gulch trail in order to run all of Missouri Gulch at one time. We would end up looping back to the same spot, and we hurried along to get to Illinois Gulch.
