White 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

This was our first trail run of 2014, and it wasn't starting out well. Matt was supposed to run trails with another member, but that member didn't show up. That left Matt on his own to check out some new trails. It wasn't all bad, though, because it was a very nice, sunny day. It was actually pretty warm for January in Colorado. There wasn't even much snow in Woodland Park.

Without much snow on it the trail was pretty easy. There were a few snow drifts here and there but it wasn't difficult. The snow got a bit deeper on the west side of La Salle Pass, but it wasn't an issue for Matt and his Jeep.

There were some people snowshoeing at the top of the pass, and it looked like they were having fun. The view from the top looking west was very nice with the valley floor all white with snow.

It didn't take long to get to the end of the trail. It ends near a subdivision on Turner Gulch Road. That would be the next new trail of the new year.

It was just after 1PM when we started the second trail of the day. There was no snow on the ground where La Salle Pass began. We all thought it would have snow because Goose Creek Road had been snow-covered, so we were surprised to see no snow at La…
