La Salle Pass was the second trail of the day. We stopped at the start of the trail for a short break. Then we started to drive up the trail. Years ago, you could pick different ways up or down La Salle Pass but now there is only one way to go.

As we got closer to the trees, we ran into a group of deer crossing the trail. They took off running as we got closer to them.

At the top of La Salle Pass, we stopped for lunch. We saw two people on motorcycles at the top where they had also stopped for a short break.

After lunch, we drove down the remainder of La Salle Pass. Near the end, a big group of four-wheelers were coming our way going up the trail. We moved to the side of the trail to let them pass. At the end of La Salle Pass, we went through the parking lot to Round Mountain Road.
