We found more and more snow the closer we got to Rampart Range Road. The Fern Creek trail was a blast up near the top of the trail with all the snow! You had to just keep moving most of the time. About halfway into the trail we ran into another group of Jeeps. It was actually an interesting adventure to get past them because the trail was not very wide where we met. We all made it around them, though, and everyone stayed on the trail.

It seemed like the end of the trail came too quickly. We soon found ourselves on Rampart Range Road and heading off to Mount Herman Road, the last trail of the day.
