Cinnamon Gulch
We ran to the end of Peru Creek and then headed back to Cinnamon Gulch. It's such a cool trail with mining areas to explore, so we were looking forward to it. We parked at the Pennsylvania Mill and headed off to check things out.
Roger enjoyed driving around and around the mill area on his own while the rest of us either hung out and chatted or wandered around the mill. It definitely looked like it was coming down at any minute. We took lots of pictures and risked death enough to check out the interior a bit, but no one did anything crazy. We wondered how long it would still be standing, more or less.
We drove around the mill and then headed over to the Pennsylvania Mine. No one got out, so we made a loop and headed back out. It wasn't long before we were headed up to the top.
We saw a few people, but getting to the top was easy. Like always, it's a bit of a mystery where the trail actually ends. We continued on until it seemed like the trail was finished, and then we all turned around. It was definitely scenic even though the weather didn't allow us to see very far.
We soon headed back down, happy to find that we had enough time to do Chihuahua Gulch too. We continued on our way.
