Shrine Pass
We had a long weekend of Leadville wheeling ahead of us, and we were celebrating the 4th of July the right way -- on a trail. We wanted to check out Lime Creek and Benson Cabin so we started with Shrine Pass.
The trail was dusty (like always) and there were a lot of people out for the holiday weekend. We went by the end of Lime Creek, heading for the trailhead at the west end.
We did Lime Creek and then repeated Shrine Pass to get to Benson Cabin. After Benson Cabin we headed out to Red Cliff.
Though Shrine Pass isn't a very exciting trail (and it's very dusty) it still offers a lot of great scenery so we had a good time.
