Schubarth Road was the next trail that we ran, and the weather was still great.

At the "Y" intersection we went right first. We did get to see some people out camping and a few Jeeps on the trail. At the end we stopped for a short break, enjoying the day.

After our break we went to the right side of the loop before you get to the "Y" in the trail. This side was nice drive through the woods.

When we got back to the "Y" we went down to the right. This part of the Schubarth Road got a lot narrower, especially near the end of the trail.

After turning around, we went to a lookout for lunch. The lookout had a very nice view, and it made it a nice lunch.

After lunch, we made our way to the start of Schubarth Road and to the next trail.

We met at the Balanced Rock parking area inside the Garden of the Gods after waiting 30 to 40 minutes to get into the park. They were having a 10K run that we weren’t aware of. When we were working on getting there the sun was out, but the clouds…
