No Name Gulch
We hadn't explored any of the trails in this network of trails, and we intended to see all of them before the weekend was finished. We started with the northmost one, No Name Gulch. We had just come from Shrine Pass, so we traveled a bit further south to the No Name Gulch trailhead.
The trail started out very easy, with lots of campers in big camping areas on both sides of the trail on the way up. The camping looked really good for groups. The trail was wide and smooth, and we made very good time.
Suddenly, the smooth trail ended and No Name Gulch started uphill on a narrower and rockier trail. We kept going, wondering why the trail suddenly changed.
The hill climb was fun but brief. We soon found ourselves at the end of No Name Gulch where it intersects with Yoder Gulch. We enjoyed the trail, though it wasn't one we'd go out of our way to run.
