Mount Baldy was the second and last trail for the day, and we did it after doing Eagle Rock. Most of Mount Baldy is an easy trail to run, and it has some great views of Colorado Springs near the end of the trail.

As we got to the shelf part of Mount Baldy, we ran into a group coming down so we pulled over to the side to let them pass. Roger was at the end of our little group, and he had two more vehicles behind him in a different group. When we pulled over to let the other group pass, the group behind Roger just went around Roger like the trail belonged to them. That created a road block for the people going down, so it was a bit of a mess for a few minutes. The other group in the middle of our group would not let Roger go by until we were almost to the end of the trail. Once they did, we were all back together again.

We stopped at the end of the trail for some time just taking in the view. Then, we started our way back down to Old Stage Road.

On the way down, we saw two people walking in the road and they stopped us to ask for help. They had a two-wheel drive pickup stuck on a hill of loose rock and they could not get it up the hill. Matt went over and pulled the truck up the hill.

After that we were soon back to Old Stage Road and on the way back home.

Mount Baldy was the second and last trail for the day.  Matt came off of a fun trip up Eagle Rock, testing his new coilovers that were working really well. On the way up Mount Baldy, Matt only ran into one motor bike going up Mount Baldy, too.  He had the place practically…
