After running Eagle Rock we made our way to the last half of the Mount Baldy trail. We ran the last half of Mount Baldy first and we planned on running the first half last.

Mount Baldy is a fairly easy trail but we like it. It was a nice drive to the top where it ends at a gate blocking motorized access to the reservoir. We had a very nice view of Colorado Springs from the end of the trail. The older girls went for the short hike to the Mount Baldy/Stratton Reservoir. They found out that the reservoir was completely empty. It looked weird.

After the small break at the reservoir we made our way back down the trail. We all had fun on this second and last trail of the day.

Going down Old Stage Road we got stopped by some people who needed help to get their Jeep out from where they were really stuck. Terry and Jim helped to winch the other Jeep out. After that we headed down Old Stage Road until we hit pavement. It was a really nice run on a great day of wheeling.
