Mammoth Gulch was the second trail for the day, and we did it right after Jenny Creek. Mammoth Gulch is an easy trail that leads to the start of Kingston Peak if driving up the north side of the mountain.
None of us had any issues with Mammoth Gulch. It was just slow going with all the rocks on the trail.

About halfway into Mammoth Gulch, Sean stopped because he was hearing a noise coming from his Jeep’s front end. We all stopped and took a look at his Jeep to see if we could find the source of the noise. It sounded like his front spring was moving around some. We told him to use four-wheel drive and see if the sound went away. And he said it was all good after a short drive.

We stopped for a short break at a camping site near the start of Kingston Peak before starting on the next trail.
