Lost World
In Moab, it looked like it was going to be a rainy day. Driving the roads to the trailhead for Lost World from Moab takes longer than driving the trail itself. But we were looking forward to checking out a new trail for TrailDamage.com and a temporary Jeep Badge of Honor trail.
When we turned onto the dirt road CR313, the sun started coming out! We aired down at the start of CR313 to smooth out the ride. For the longest time, we kept passing a Jeep stopped at the side of the road, then he would pass us again at high speed, over and over. The Jeep ended up staying behind us for all of Lost World trail.
Most of Lost World was an easy drive with a few small hill climbs. None of us any issues with Lost World. We all enjoyed the great view along the trail.
Around the center of Lost World is the biggest hill climb on the trail, Mini Hell's Gate. We took some pictures of the hill climb. Not too much later, we came upon a group that was running Lost World from the opposite direction.
After finishing Lost World, we found an area for lunch. We all had a great time on the new trail, so we turned around and did it again in the opposite direction rather than following other dirt roads back out. We did not run into a lot of traffic on Lost World, probably because the trail is a pretty far drive from town. But it was worth it.
