Hotel Gulch was the next trail for the day. We stopped next to the old hotel for a few pictures, but then started to make our way up the Hotel Gulch trail.

Soon, Hotel Gulch was covered in very wet snow. There was a Jeep making its way down a hill and we watched as the driver almost slid the front of his vehicle off the side of the trail. Monica gave him a small pull to get him back on the trail and he was good to go. After that, Monica did not like the idea of driving in the slick snow so she turned around and made her way back home.

Matt and Chad went for it and made their way up Hotel Gulch. For a short time, the snow got deeper. The tires on the Jeeps would throw big junks of snow up in the air.

After a mile or so, the snow on the trail turned into just water running down the trail. For the rest of the trail, Matt and Chad didn't have any issues.

We made it to the end of the Hotel Gulch at Rampart Range Road and then we were off to the last trail of the day, Mount Herman.
