Goose Creek Road
Goose Creek Road was the first trail run of the year! It was going to be a very nice and sunny day for the first run of the new year, with just a bit of snow on the ground from a recent storm.
We started out from the Deckers end of the trail for this trail run.
The beginning of Goose Creek Road had been plowed for a few miles to some private property, but the rest of Goose Creek Road was not plowed.
Matt missed the turn to stay on Goose Creek Road just before the private property. After turning around and making the correct turn, the trail was not plowed anymore.
None of us had any problems with the snow on Goose Creek Road. The snow was not very deep, and there were tire tracks already on the road.
When we got to the turn off for the Goose Creek hiking trail, we went into the parking lot and stopped for lunch.
After lunch we finished Goose Creek Road, and then we were off to the next trail.
