Gold Bar Rim
Gold Bar Rim was the last trail of the day and the last trail of the Trifecta. By this time, we were really looking forward to the end of the day and sitting down for dinner.
Most of Gold Bar Rim was easy going. We stopped for a short break halfway before the Waterfall obstacle so a group of side-by-sides could pass us. When we reached the Waterfall, the group that had passed us was just getting the last side-by-side up the obstacle.
This year, someone had put some rocks and dirt in the dug-out bottom to rise it up some, which made it a little easier to go up. All of us made it up the Waterfall this time without issues.
The rest of Gold Bar Rim was an easy drive downhill with a few ledges to drop off. None of us had any problems with the rest of the trail. After reaching the parking area next to a campground at the end of the trail, we aired back up and went for a late-night dinner. This was just about the perfect Moab trip, and we were happy.
