Fins & Things
Fins & Things was the last trail run for the Utah trip. We started out from Blanding to get to Moab early in the morning. As one would expect, it was going to be another hot and sunny day.
We aired down in the parking lot next to Hell's Revenge. We stopped at Baby Lions Back before going to Fins & Things. We all had fun driving up and going back down Baby Lions Back. The small pound was all dried up, though.
As we started Fins & Things, we ran into a few side-by-sides. We passed them, and then they passed us later on in the day. We also met a rental Jeep out and about having fun. Matt spotted the rental Jeep first on a small rock slab hill.
We all enjoyed playing on the slick rock and driving fast through the sandy area, but not too fast. At the "fins" part of the trail it was fun going up and down the big slabs of rock. We did not have any issues with Fins & Things trail.
In the end, we aired back up in the parking lot. Matt and Jason drove back to Colorado, and Julie returned to Blanding for one more night in Utah. It was definitely a trip filled with ups and downs, but we loved every minute.
