Cottonwood Pass
This was our last trail of the day. Cottonwood Pass is paved from start to finish. So, it only took about an hour to drive to the end after finishing Tincup Pass.
We stopped at the top of the pass and enjoyed the views in all directions in the Continental Divide area. We walked around for a short time.
After the short stop, we went down the other side of Cottonwood Pass to Buena Vista. Roger left and went straight back home. Matt and Walt and their passengers stopped in Buena Vista for dinner.
It was a great day to be out on the trail and we did get to see some of the fall colors. Winter is just around the corner.
