Birdseye Gulch
Birdseye Gulch the second and last trail of the day after Mosquito Pass. We stopped on one of the side roads near the start of Birdseye Gulch for lunch. After lunch we started driving down Birdseye Gulch.
Soon we came upon a guy driving up Birdseye Gulch. We stopped and talked for a few, and he said that the trail got very tippy not too much farther down the trail. We did find two tippy spots on the remainer of Birdseye Gulch and the first area was not bad, but the later spot was more off camber.
Then we got to the old mud pit area, but it was all dried up with newer drainage under the trail to keep it from turning muddy. After that, the trail turned very rocky for a short time. At the next big downhill part of the trail, we ran into another Jeep coming our way.
The rest of the trail was easy driving and soon we were at the end of Birdseye Gulch. We aired up before getting back on the pavement for the drive home. We all had a great time offroading, and the weather was great, too.
