Moonshine Arch
Moonshine Arch was the last trail for the day for Matt. The start of Moonshine Arch was really hard to find. There is a marker on the highway approaching it, but the little dirt road branching off looks more like a driveway than a road, so we missed it and had to turn around to make the turn.
In the beginning, it looked like it was going to be just a dirt road again. But that changed after a parking area. The gate for the Moonshine Arch was open and just after the gate the trail was washed out quite a bit going downhill. The only tracks in the dirt were footprints.
It was a short drive to the arch with a few hills to go up and a few tight spots. Soon Matt was at the Moonshine Arch.
There were a few groups of people at the arch, all looking at Matt because he was the only Jeep in the area. It was like he cheated to get to the Moonshine Arch.
After taking some pictures of the Moonshine Arch and walking around Matt turned around and went back the same way he came in. It was a great day of wheeling.
