Mount Herman Road
This was Matt's first trail run with his new Jeep, and he was looking forward to trying it out. It looked like it was going to be a very nice day to be out on the trails.
Most of Mount Herman road was dry, with a few spots of snow and ice in the shady areas. We stopped by a rock that we could drive on and play around, so that Matt could see what the new Jeep could do. We all had fun there, and soon we were on our way to Ice Cave Creek Road.
We did Ice Cave Creek Road and Balanced Rock Road, and then took Mount Herman Road on the way back out, too. On the way back down at the end of the day, we found a Jeep that looked like it had skidded off of the road, stopped from going all the way down the very steep hill by a single tree. The group with the Jeep had a few people trying to winch the Jeep out, and it looked like they had it under control. We left them to their work and took Mount Herman Road all the way down and out.
