Top of the World
Top of the World was the last trail for the Moab trip this time. We aired down by the Dewey Bridge.
The first half of Top of the Word was easy going.
We headed right at the intersection, and then the trail started to get hilly and rocky. It did not give any of us any issues.
At the first and only obstacle, Matt and Jason stayed left for the whole obstacle. Sean went to the right first but then switched to the left line. The rest of the climb up to the end of Top of the World was rocky with a lot of ledge climbs that have gotten bigger over the years. It kept things lively.
At the end of the trail, Matt and Jason parked on the edge for that Top-of-the-World picture that everyone wants. It was fun but a bit unnerving to back up to the edge of the cliff!
We took a break for lunch at the end of the trail. Then, we helped one person with his picture on the edge of the trail. After lunch, we started down the trail and ran into a Jeep with a dead battery. The Jeep would not even take a jump. So, we helped turn the Jeep around and Jason pulled it down to Dewey Bridge.
After airing back up, Matt and Jason gave the people who had the dead battery a ride back to Moab. They bought a new battery and went back with their truck and trailer to get their Jeep back. It's always good to lend a hand. And it was a fantastic trip to Utah.
