Sevenmile Creek (Fourmile Area)
Sevenmile Creek was the last trail for the day, and it was still very nice outside for the end of October. We did the trail right after the Lenhardy Cutoff. This was the Sevenmile Creek trail in the Fourmile Area near Buena Vista.
Sevenmile Creek did not have people out hunting like we saw on Lenhardy, maybe because it was later in the day. We let a few four-wheelers and dirt bikes pass. We were just going slow and taking in the views of the area.
Most of Sevenmile Creek is easy going with one good hill climb. The hill was too much for a small dirt bike, and they stalled the engine almost at the top of the hill as we watched. Some of the trees were still changing color but most of the trees had lost their leaves. It was looking like winter.
At the end of Sevenmile Creek, we aired back up and all went back home after a very nice day of driving around up in the mountains.
