Saxon Mountain was the second and last trail for the day, and we did it after making it up Spring Creek. We drove to the top of Saxon Mountain before going down to Georgetown.

At the top of Saxon Mountain, we all stopped to walk around and enjoy the great views. After the stop at the top of Saxon Mountain we started to make our way down.

Most of Saxon Mountain trail was easy going, but very rocky. Around halfway down Saxon Mountain, the trail did get tighter.

Right at this hill with a tight squeeze, we ran into a full-sized Hummer H1. The Hummer took the entire width of the trail to get through it, but in the end, he did make it. It was cool to watch.

The rest of Saxon Mountain went easy and none of us had any issues with the trail.

At the end of Saxon Mountain, most of us aired back up before going home. The weather was great for the day, and we did not see too many people on the trail. It was a perfect day of wheeling.

There were only two of us on Spring Creek and we didn’t end up behind anyone, so it was only noon when we came off of South Spring Gulch and onto Saxon Mountain. We’d had a late snow this year, so we weren’t sure if we could get to the…
