Red Cone was the first trail of the day. We aired down at the start of the dirt road for a softer ride down the road. It looked like was going to be a great day with lots of sun, and no thunderstorms were forecasted.

The start of the Red Cone was not too hard, just slow going. The trail did look like it has been used a lot this summer.

We all made it through the first obstacle. Bill had the hardest time because his jeep has stock tires. It took a few times to get the right line for Bill but he made it through without any damage.

The rest of Red Cone up to the tree line did not give us any issues, though the trail would twist our Jeeps a bit in some places.

The long hill climb to the top was easy going for the most part, and a lot of fun.

When reaching the top of Red Cone, we were the only ones at the top.

The drive down the one-way part of Red Cone was fun -- just slow and steady!

At the bottom of the long descent we took a short break, and then we went to the bottom of the switchbacks for lunch.

It had been way too long since we’d seen Red Cone, and we were excited to check it out. We came off of a depressingly short run on Twin Cone, and we found text messages from Matt saying he found brake caliper bolts, fixed his Jeep, and was trying to…
