Radical Hill
We found a nice spot to have lunch just before the start of Radical Hill, and we were there for a while to enjoy the views of the basin around us. We did see a group of side-by-sides coming down from the top of Radical Hill towards us, so we timed it just right. Most of the time, there is no way you could pass someone on the trail.
After lunch, we made our way up Radical Hill. Soon, we came to the first obstacle. We all took a different line up the rocks. Matt went to the left, Brian went to the right, and Niko went up the center. None of us had any issues with the obstacle.
The second obstacle was the wash-out area. We ran into a second group of four-wheelers making their way down. They could not believe that we were going to drive to the top of Radical Hill.
We stopped at the old building to the left of the trail before going up the shelf-road part of Radical Hill.
We gave each other some space going up the shelf road of Radical Hill and arrived without issues on top of Radical Hill. There were some more side-by-sides at the top, so we got lucky again with the timing.
It started snowing just for a few minutes when we were at the top of Radical Hill, but nothing was sticking. We weren't worried about the rest of the day.
