Pomeroy Lakes
Pomeroy Lakes was the first trail of the day. It looked like it was going to be a cool and cloudy day. We aired down by St. Elmo in a small parking lot. The parking lot was full of trucks and trailers, but still had some room for us to air down.
Soon, we made it to the start of Pomeroy Lakes. The trail was easy going up to a small, old cabin. We stopped for short time to look around. Then we made our way down the the turn for the trail that went to Mary Murphy Mill.
The trail up to Mary Murphy Mill was narrow in spots. When we made it to the mill we stopped to look around at what was still standing of the old mill.
Then, we made our way back to the main trail for Pomeroy Lakes. The trail was easy going but for a small hill climb. We stopped to take some pictures of Matt and Niko flexing some.
At one spot on Pomeroy Lakes we did see a group of people that were taking down their camp. Soon we made it to Pomeroy Lakes and the end of the trail. We took a 360-degree video of the trip down to show what the trail is like. You can drag your mouse around the video or tilt and move your phone to look around.
After the Pomeroy Lakes descent we stopped for lunch. When Matt was getting his lunch out he saw that one of his bolts for his upper coil-over bracket was broken. But there was nothing that he could do about the bolt. He would take it easy for the rest of the day.
Soon, we at the end of Pomeroy Lakes and off to Hancock Pass.
