Poison Spider Mesa
Poison Spider Mesa was the first trail of the second full day in Moab. The sun was out, and it promised to be another hot one. We were going to have a long day as we were planning on running the Trifecta (Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim).
We aired down at the trailhead for Poison Spider Mesa and soon started the trail.
The switchback at the beginning was fun and the Edge was too. The Prelaunch Pad was fun. And the Waterfall obstacle was also fun. No one had any issues going up any of them.
Matt was the only one to go through Wedgy -- Jason and Sean went around. Matt did get some good flex in Wedgy.
Soon, we were at the High-Speed Mesa. It was fun going faster in the sand. Then we went down the steep, slickrock slab and were at the start of Golden Spike. We headed into the fun of that trail.
