Mount Herman Road
After running Schubarth Road we went to Mount Herman Road for the drive off the trails in the Rampart Range area. Mount Herman Road would take us back to the pavement. It was getting dark because the storms were moving in, so we didn't waste too much time on the way out.
The drive down Mount Herman Road was easy. We did not see too many vehicles coming our way, which made driving down nice. It meant that we did not have to get too close to the side of the road, and that's always good.
The bottom of the trail was fairly rocky at times, and it looked like it had rained there already. We stopped at the end of the trail so that Steve could air up his tires. The rest of the group only aired down to 20 psi and did not have that far to drive to get home, so everyone else decided to wait and air up at home later on. This was the end of our day, and we all had fun.
