Mount Herman Road
Mount Herman Road was the last trail for the day. We watched the clouds started to move back in with light snow. Mount Herman Road was covered in packed snow on the trail. That snow made it a little slippery driving down the road towards Monument.
We stopped at the play area up on top of the mountain. Matt and Jason played around some. But the most exciting thing was that we got to watch a new Rivian go straight up the snow covered and icy hill without spinning a tire. The Rivian’s friend, a stock Toyota, did not make it up the hill so effortlessly.
After the play area, we continued downhill and finished Mount Herman Road. We aired back up near the paved road. It was a great day to be outside and drive in the snow and the beautiful Colorado mountains.
