Mount Herman Road
We aired down in a small parking area just before the pavement ended on the way to the Mount Herman Road trail. Brian was sponsoring his son, Alan, as a new member. It was a great day for the first trail run on the year! The sun was out and the temperature was warm for January.
Th start of Mount Herman Road was dry with a few wet areas, but that did not last too long. As we made our way up Mt Herman Road it started to become icy and then packed with snow. None of us had any issues with the packed snow on the road, we just had to go slowly.
Mount Herman Road was the first trail for Brian’s new Jeep. So, we stopped at the play area so he could see what his new Jeep could do on some rocks and washes to flex out the Jeep. He was very happy with what his new ride did on the rocks. We all played around for some time.
After the play area we finished Mount Herman Road and went to Ice Cave Creek Road.
