Mount Herman Road
We decided to take a different way to Mount Herman Road via Beaver Creek Road, next to Ensign Gulch. It's in a valley, and we figured it would have some pretty deep snow during the winter. That spur was the only place where we found a lot of ice and snow.
The end of the spur was fun because it had a lot of washout areas as we got closer to Mount Herman Road. The spur wasn't long, but it had some nice views, all without the heavy traffic we saw on Rampart Range Road. Soon we were at Mount Herman Road, the last trail for the day.
The weather was still very nice out for January. Mount Herman Road had no snow on it, and we didn't have any issues. Just like any nice day, we did see a lot of traffic on the trail.
After driving down Mount Herman Road we stopped at a parking lot area to air back up so we could drive back home. We all had a great day of four wheeling.
