Left Hand Canyon
We only intended to run around Left Hand Canyon for a little while and come back -- but it didn't work out that way. We were convinced that there had to be another way out besides the way we came in, so we looked for 12 hours. We didn't find anything, so we turned around and went back. It was a little bummer, but we still had fun. And we really know the back parts of Left Hand now!
We played in the Playground for a long time, especially on the "Big Rock."
Monica came down it in first gear (4-low), clutch out, standing on the brake -- and still probably hit 10 mph over the rocks. Kendall came down smoothly with his automatic, then gave it a few shots trying to get back up (no way!).
We also played awhile on Tippy Tree (close calls!) and watched some other people try to rescue a truck that had wedged itself in a stupid place since the day before.
There were lots of people drinking beer and shooting guns (and the trail is a trash pit) but it was fun!
