Kawuneeche Road
Even though it's a very easy trail, Kawuneeche Road is a nice drive. We had just finished going up to the top of North Supply Creek and we took Kawuneeche Road from the top down in order to connect with Stillwater Pass.
The road was almost always smooth, though there were a few dips in the road in places. We enjoyed a smooth ride after the morning's bumpiness, though.
It wasn't long before we got to the trailhead for Stillwater Pass. We all got out to discuss our plans. It could end up being a long day, we figured, so some people might want to leave.
Marcus was very low on gas, but Mark U. had spare gas cans with him so Marcus decided to wing it and join us. Mark F. decided to head for home, so he continued on to the bottom of Kawuneeche Road. Everyone else wanted to at least see what the next trail had in store, so we left from there.
Kawuneeche Road isn't the most adventurous trail out there, but we still enjoyed a nice drive in the woods. It seemed like there were some very happy campers along the way, too.
