We ran this long trail from start to finish and picked Darrin up near the end of it. He was also from Colorado and ended up running Steel Bender with us too. We had planned on running Moab Rim but thought it would be better to run something a little less dangerous for Matt's first Moab trail. We had a really good time on this trail that has a little bit of everything.

The trail starts out with a few obstacles, mostly hills to climb. There is a ditch to drive through and a horseshoe-shaped dirt hill to play on. Then we got down into the canyon.

The trees were green and yellow and the Creek wasn't very deep. We splashed through the water and had fun in the sand all the way through the canyon. We ended up having lunch at the only spot wide enough for all of our vehicles without driving off the trail. It had a campfire spot too.

We came around a corner to find a nice rocky hill to play on. Everyone had their own challenges working their way up the sandy hill. Matt had a few troubles but managed to force his way up the ledges. Nice job!

Around another corner we found a nice waterfall where Darrin was waiting and helping with the spotting. He ended up behind us on the way out to the road.

This was a great trail to prepare ourselves for Steel Bender. It is just about the only one in the area with so many water crossings and shady areas. It's a different kind of trail for Moab and always fun.

We were really looking forward to this trail — and it was worth the drive. There were lots of places where you could either drive straight up something or go around (we usually chose stright up, of course). https://youtu.be/jvxkdJzzsJ4 https://youtu.be/__VYJTwKifY We even had the "Moab Sand Races" where we got…
