Ice Cave Creek Road
We had lunch near the beginning of the trail. We all forgot to bring anything to sit on, of course, so we all stood around while we were eating. We all could see that a storm was moving in. Pikes Peak was soon gone behind thick, grey clouds and the wind started to blow. So we made it a very quick lunch and started down the trail.
We weren't far along the trail when it started to snow on us. It was snowing very hard and we could not see too far in front of us. But then the snow stopped after just a little while and we were still on our way down the trail.
At one point, Terry drove into some deeper snow and got stuck. He had to try a few times to get himself out of the snow drift, but he had fun getting himself unstuck. The rest of the trail was not too hard to drive down. It wasn't long at all before we were off to the last trail of the day, Hotel Gulch.
