Goose Creek Road
Goose Creek Road was the first trail run of the new year. Roger sponsored two new members, Sarah and Kathie, and we had a big group for a January run. Sarah bought Walt's Jeep TJ, and Walt bought a new Rubicon. It looked like it was going to be a nice, sunny day. It was not that cold out for a January day.
We were hoping for a fun snow run but we got just spots of snow on Goose Creek Road. Most of the snow was in the areas of shade and that was mostly ice. So we had to go slow around the corners in the shady areas. None of us had any issues.
Looking to the west you could see some snow on the side of the mountains, and looking to the east most of the snow had melted.
It was a nice day to get out on the trail, and we all had a great time.
