Gold Hill
At the start of Gold Hill, it was raining like it was on Switzerland Trail. The moisture kept the dust down to nothing, which was enjoyable. The trail was easy going. We went up the optional hill climb to the overlook. The hill climb was fun and none of us had any issues going up or coming back down. At the top of the hill climb were two Toyota trucks. Both trucks were taking pictures of their vehicles on top of a rock pile.
Matt and Tim both parked on the rock pile to take a few pictures of the Jeeps with a very nice background of the mountains. After the short break on top of the hill, we started down to finish Gold Hill. We ran into the Toyotas a few more times as we all continued to the end of the trail at about the same speed.
Near the end of Gold Hill we took the bypass to a second overlook. At the overlook bypass we saw the paved road that we would take out after airing back up. At the end of Gold Hill is a small parking lot that we used to air back up before going back home.
We all did have a great time up in the mountains.
