Coney Flats
Coney Flats was the last trail for the day. It started with the hill climb off of the Middle St. Vrain, which was easy going for us.
Near the top of that first hill, we came upon a small rock pile that was fun. Calvin and Alan needed a bit of spotting help from Matt to make it through the rock pile. None of us did have any issues with the rocks, only fun.
Soon, we came to the water crossing. The water crossing is always fun as the water is just the right depth -- deep, but not too deep!
The rest of the trail was rocky with a few small hill climbs and muddy water holes to drive through.
We aired back up at the end of the trail at the lake in a camping area. As we were airing up we were able to hear Brian talking on the CB radio, though we hadn't seen him since the start of the day when he left to take two girls to their house after they locked their keys in their car. We were all happy that we did manage to meet up with Brian in the end. He did feel good about helping the two girls out, even though he missed all of the Jeeping for the day.
