China Wall
The last trail of the day was part of a big loop of trails south of Tarryall Reservoir. Matt was on his own as he ran La Salle Pass and then Turner Gulch Road. At only 1:30 in the afternoon it was still early in the day. China Wall would be a great finish to a fairly quick but gorgeous day.
At the start of the China Wall were two trucks and a trailer parked. It looked like Matt wouldn't be completely alone after all.
China Wall had some snow on the trail, but not too much. The first hill climb went well and Matt soon found himself at the first pile of rocks. He played on the rock for a short time.
At the rock slab there were about ten Jeeps playing on the obstacle, so Matt decided to skip it. He went down to the end of China Wall and ate lunch.
After lunch, he made his way back almost to the start of China Wall and turned down forest service road 204. It ended up being a pretty quick trail run, and he was soon at the end of the trail and heading for home.
