We decided to go for a little wheeling late Sunday afternoon. We got to the trailhead for Left Hand Canyon sometime after 4PM, where we aired down and disconnected our sway bars. We were soon on our way.

We braved the shooting range to get to Carnage Canyon. Gun smoke and the sound of high caliber rapid fire weapons is always a nice way to start a little wheeling trip. Right away we ran into several vehicles coming down and had to find room to let them pass.

We had only been on this trail once before, so we couldn't remember the names of the obstacles at the time. We had no issues just picking our way around some stuff and playing on others.

The drop after the Slab was a bit much, so while climbing it was no issue we choose not to drop off the other side. We backed down and drove around.

We only spent about an hour on the trail. We could have spent more time, but the light was fading.

We were going to explore the Left Hand Canyon area of trails in order to fully map everything, especially the Five Points area. We started with Carnage Canyon and found ourselves in traffic right away. While we were airing up, someone came up to ask us if we were meeting…
