Baldwin Lake
The start of Baldwin Lake trail was just like the very rocky trail of Mount Antero, the trail we just did. But soon, the trail became more challenging and the rocks got bigger. We did not have any issues with the more demanding trail -- it just made things more fun.
At times, the trail became more narrow but it wasn't horrible. Once we got to the shelf road, we stayed to the left to go to Baldwin Lake and a mine at the every end.
The section near the end of the Baldwin Lake trail was steeper and more difficult, and it was more fun for us.
We had lunch at the mine and we had a great view. We did not stay very long though, because it was cold and starting to get windy. After lunch, we made our way back down to the main road to air up and go home. It was a great day of fall colors and great views, and a little snow for fun.
