Balanced Rock Road
Balanced Rock Road was going to be the second and last trail to run for the day. 2018 was a good year, and we were sad to see it ending. It was still sunny and warm out when we got to the trailhead. The trail was in very good shape, with just a few spots on the trail that had snow.
We did run into a few people on the way down and on the way up. Around halfway down Balanced Rock Road we stopped for lunch at a spur that went off the main trail then back on the main trail so we did not have to turn around. It was a good spot to stop.
After lunch we finished Balanced Rock Road at the lake. We all walked around by the lake for a bit, enjoying the good weather and company.
Soon after we got to the bottom we started the way back up Balanced Rock Road and finished out the day and the season.
