Cinnamon Pass is a rather easy trail with some great views. We drove by many camping spots and a few campgrounds. We did see a lot of people, and most looked like they were out hiking. Past the campground, there weren't as many people around.

The trail started to get steeper past a sign that read 4-wheel drive recommended. Near the top of Cinnamon Pass, we saw spots of snow that had not melted yet. We stopped at the top of the pass to take in the view.

As we went down the switchbacks, we could see the Columbus Mine and Animas Fork. We stopped for a long break at the end of Cinnamon Pass to walk around and look at Animas Fork.
