Fern Creek
The snow on Fern Creek at the top was deeper than on Illinois Gulch. Going up Fern Creek was fun with the deeper snow, though. Even with the climb in deeper snow we didn't have any issues.
Unfortunately, it's a relatively short trail. Soon, we were at the end of the trail and on Rampart Range Road. We did not have any issues with running Fern Creek trail but we had a lot of fun in the snow.
Then we went on the long drive down Rampart Range Road to Ice Cave Creek Road.
