Yankee Hill
We ran almost all of this trail just after running Pickle Gulch. We ran out of time to do Miner's Gulch, but we're planning on running that one next time. We left via Cumberland Gulch instead.
Aside from trying to follow directions the trail was fairly uneventful. There was a good, loose rock hill that was very steep and narrow. It was just off the trail but very obviously well-travelled. After getting back to the trail we played in the rocks and turned on 271.1F to get to Cumberland Gulch.
We ran it fairly quickly (in about an hour) but it seems like a good trail for people who want to get out without damaging anything on their vehicle. It would be a good place to take visiting relatives without having to drive too far into the mountains. It was a pretty drive!
