Blue 2002 Jeep Wrangler

We began our second trail of the day, the Switzerland Trail, right after running Sugarloaf Mountain. Switzerland Trail is also Boulder County road 93. We started at the parking area that connects Switzerland Trail and Sugarloaf Mountain.

We stopped at the junction with Forest Service road 221 for pictures, but did not explore any of the side routes. There were some icy areas, but none of them were a issue.

We found the trail to be even easier on our ascent from the little village of Sunset to the north end of the trail at Boulder County road 52. We did not stop at the Mont Alto site because of the number of people already there enjoying the view and pleasant weather.
