Poison Spider Mesa
This trail is a blast, even if you don't plan on doing Golden Spike. There are loads of fun obstacles, including nearly-vertical places of slickrock that are always good to get your blood pumping.
We had a really good time on this trail, and lunch at Little Arch was so cool. The sun was out and it wasn't too windy. You can sit there and look out over the river and Potash Road where you came in. We also watched a big bike race happening on Moab Rim, the trail across the canyon. If you have binoculars this would be a good place to use them. The trail is too far away to hear them and really pick anyone out, but you can still get the general idea.
This is one of the better trails in Moab!
