We had run Oh-My-God Road in the dark the night before on our way up to watch the Perseid meteor shower. Unfortunately that meant that we didn't have any good pictures of the trail, so Monica ran up the next day to take some pictures and map out more of the route.

We had only taken the difficult route before, so this time Monica went up the easy route, turned around, and went down the difficult route. She mapped it all out and took lots of pictures. She also explored a lot of Russell Gulch, though there were still so many spurs on that trail.

Oh-My-God Road was even better in the daytime, with lots of great scenery. It was cool to contrast the easy trail with the rougher trail. There were lots of passenger cars and big trucks on the easy side, but there wasn't anyone on the difficult side. It was a nice day.

We had just finished bashing through snow on Cascade Creek, and we were up for more fun. We figured that the trails around Russell Gulch would be fun to explore more, so we headed up Oh-My-God Road. The road was completely dry, so it wasn’t as challenging as we’d hoped…
