We ran this trail right after doing a short run on Saran Wrap (after playing on the big dirt hill next to the Eagle Rock entrance). It was a blast as always, even though the snow was falling off and on throughout the day.

We got to the first obstacle and we picked our line through the middle of the rocks. It looked like the right side had changed a bit because we couldn't find the line from the year before. Monica spun a tire but made it through without any problems. Brian D. went through without even slowing down, making it look easy.

Then Brian E. started up and his rear tire slipped off the sand-covered rock. He got his tire pretty lodged in the rocks and he couldn't go forward or backward. Everyone tried pushing him down but he wasn't budging so he took a little tug from a tow strap and got through and out of the hole.

Jason and Ladd came through next and also didn't have any troubles. We found the good line through that one!

The trip up the hill to the view of Eagle Rock was eventful for Mike who had some slipping in the rocks and dirt. He made it through the messy hill to the top and we all took a little breather.

Moving on, we all had fun in the last obstacle. Mike and Brian E. took the bypass as the rest of us slid all over the big rocks. Monica had a few troubles but made it out of the hole at the bottom. Brian D. tried a different line and got really tippy but was all smiles at the other end. Jason and Ladd both made it look easy when it was their turn.

We came up to the road and found our way back to town, airing up in a parking lot on the way into town. A couple of us went out for Mexican food and on the way home we ended up in very violent winds and rain on I-25 for our ride home.

The day started off at the meetup location, and after some off-topic conversation we headed up to the trailhead. The weather was beautiful but cold and windy. We aired down where the pavement ends on Old Stage Road, and then we were off. At the trailhead we stopped for a…
